Service was excellent and food was great. We had ceviche which tasted very fresh and kids had burgers which they loved. They also had brownie dessert which was very good. Loved all the little lights and nice feel but no live music and very quiet despite it being a Saturday night.
During our stay at Hotel Plaza Yara. we were recommended El Ranchito. This place did not disappoint, it had a great atmosphere from the outside and the inside The staff was amazing and friendly and very warm from the servers to the chef! We went back two nights in a row. Hands-down with some of the best food and drinks we have had on the entire 15 day trip across the country. Catch of the day two days in a row was absolutely fresh and amazing the first night one of the best meals, my partner had shrimp pasta, the one night and a Fish Casado the other. Prices are amazing for what you’re getting and not overpriced like the surrounding area. Would recommend this place to anyone!!
We stopped here for dinner a few nights ago. The filet mignon was delicious. My wife had the Casado, and I had the filet mignon. The boys had a casadilla. All the food was good, and the service was great.

The dish is a triumph of culinary artistry, balancing the delicate snap of jumbo shrimp against the robust, savory umami of the portobello. The Chef has achieved a sublime harmony here, using the meaty texture of the mushroom to ground the brightness of the seafood.
Fairly generic menu (same as every other place around), but delicious guac and chips. Huge portion of arroz con pollo! And you can spot adorable macaws! And super friendly staff!!
