Really wonderful meal. We arrived too late to appreciate the views but even on a hot day the outdoor seating was cool. Service was excellent with a very friendly fun waiter who made us all laugh but also was really clear and thoughtful helping us choose gluten free dishes. He even gave advice for the best local beach. Oh. And the food was all delicious and what we couldn't finish we took away in boxes. Pura Vida!
Overall, we had a decent time. The food was good and the portions were large. However, it did take a long time (over an hour) to get our food from when we placed our initial drink order. But I will say it did seem like other tables got their food a little faster. The view is, well green but you don't get a view of the actual sunset. Seating is all outdoors so keep that in mind if you don't care for humid weather. But we enjoyed the breeze and our view and overall experience was still nice.
I ordered the chicken nachos and they were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was really nice with soft background music, making it a relaxing place to sit and enjoy. The staff were also very friendly and provided great service. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would definitely come back again!
Highly recommended! We had the Pacific tuna (with avocado, mango, and soy sauce), which was the best dish we tried in Costa Rica. I also had the Aztec soup, which was very good as well. I believe the meals at this restaurant were better than those at other, more expensive places.
I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant multiple times during my stay — and for good reason. The balcony view is absolutely stunning, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable evening. The food was consistently excellent, with prices comparable to other nearby restaurants. One standout dish was the Stuffed Chili Pepper, which was so good I ordered it more than once. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the exceptional service. Our server, Gabriel, brought a fantastic energy to the evening — friendly, engaging, and genuinely fun to be around. His service elevated the entire experience. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning guest, I highly recommend this place for dinner. Great food, beautiful views, and top-notch service — it’s a combination that’s hard to beat.
