We had breakfast two times and dinner once. Loved the food, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed having the cassado everywhere we went in Costa Rica and especially here. Delicious and nutritious! Pura Vida!
EASILY MY FAVORITE MEAL IN MANUEL ANTONIO! Maybe all of Costa Rica. Order the Rice w/ Chicken, a side of beans, and make sure they bring the homemade hot sauce. Literally SO good I got a second order to go for later tonight for after we go to the bar, because most food spots close early here (Pro Tip for Manuel Antonio: if you’ll be out late, find something good at dinner to order to go to heat up later.)The homemade hot sauce is top tier, I asked if they sell it so I could take some home with me and they smiled and said nope. I could tell I’m definitely not the first person that asked this. Ugh I will dream of this sauce and this meal when we return home. Their espresso martini is also amazing and a big portion, they make the espresso fresh and it’s so flavorful - I asked for Tito’s vodka instead of their well. It’s also family owned and they’re so nice. Great service and they played good music. Couldn’t recommend this spot more!!
We found this place by accident driving by to our hotel. We checked it out on google and we weren't disappointed. The owner is really kind and asked us how we liked their food. We ate 3 times there and even when they were super busy and the food came in a bit slower, it still tasted amazing. The fajitas were amazing and the quesadilla was one of the best I had. They alsi have table games you can play while you are waiting which is a nice touch. Highly recommend!
A local recommended Cerdo Feliz for good Costa Rican food, and they were absolutely right. A few minutes off the beaten track, Cerdo Feliz is a family owned restaurant serving a range of Costa Rican dishes. Worth noting that the casados are only available at lunchtime, but there are nachos, wraps, salads and plenty of other rice dishes for dinner - I highly recommend the chifrijo (a simple but delicious dish of white rice, pork and beans, topped with pico de gallo and avocado), and the arroz de pollo (a type of Costa Rican stir fried rice dish) was also tasty and very filling. The desserts were also delicious - the coconut flan was one of the nicest we've had during our trip. As well as a range of local beers, and a variety of fruit smoothies there is also a decent list of cocktails - my guaro sour (a national cocktail) was packed with limes, lip puckeringly zesty with just the right balance of sweet and citrus. The atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are good - unusual in the area where the prices tend towards overcharging tourists. Overall a definite recommendation if you're looking for a good meal, and definitely if you're looking for a good Costa Rican meal.
I would give 6 stars if I could. We had the best food since we have been in Costa Rica (two weeks and we always eat out) Both our food was nice portion and delicious, and the passion fruit cake is a must have! Nice ambience with great music. Very nice, friendly staff, highly recommended.
