Myself and two friends rented motorbikes and stumbled across this place. Incredible views, super nice staff and fresh food.
Wow, this is the kind of place that you hope to find when you travel! The atmosphere was truly magical. You’re on the top of the mountain with the most incredible views with wildlife all around you. Our crew had so much fun having lunch here that we’re already planning to go back in the next day or two. Really is a special place and should be on everyone’s list who visits Jaco!
Wild ride to get to this place but once you're there its worth it! Great food, drink, people and views!
We stopped here as part of our ATV tour, and it was perfection. Ice cold beer, the best empanada you’ll ever have, great views, local dogs, and we even met the owner who came over to say hello and thank you. What a gem!
Yes it is an out of the way place but on top of the world with a great owner, cook, and Wood fired cooking that is down to earth real tico food. Catching the views during the rainy season can be tricky but the experience is so worth it, if the views don't pan out on your first attempt. You will go back up the hill again once you meet Senora Marta and her food. She does not speak much English but she smiles in every language. If you have a bilingual friend have them ask Ms Marta how she ended up at this location with her restaurant.
