Best tuna carpaccio I’ve ever had. Daniel is a fabulous chef and the food is fresh and local. We live close by, but there’s always people who have come from Europe or the States and it’s their favorite restaurant in Costa Rica! Darlenny is amazing, and so is Lizz. A great team—and the schnitzel is amazing!
No Costa Rica trip without having dinner at the Supper Club. Make sure to book in advance as they have limited space available. Portion sizes are very big. I would strongly recommend the bbq ribs
Matapalo Supper Club is a truly special little restaurant. Daniel and Darlenny, together with their team, create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. We visited twice, and both evenings were excellent. The food was beautifully balanced, thoughtfully prepared and served in generous portions. The tuna steak in particular was outstanding - perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Every dish felt refined and made with real care. A highlight on its own is the menu being presented orally - everything is freshly sourced and cooked with great attention to quality. We felt genuinely looked after and very comfortable throughout the evenings. We hope to return soon. Thank you for two very special nights!🫶🏽
The most INCREDIBLE food I think I’ve ever eaten!! We drove over an hour to come here and absolutely worth the drive. So delicious and the owners are so sweet and kind
