Absolutely loved this restaurant and the food. The “fish ceviche” is a must. Fabian our waiter was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had a variety of foods; which were all delicious. El manglar beef nachos, wings, fried shrimp plate, whole red snapper, chicken sandwich, mahi mahi with shrimp, shrimp tacos. Everything was prepared to order, so be patient, it’s worth the wait!! The fish ceviche was so good that we ordered a second serving!!
Oh. My. Goodness!! This place is so delicious! Me and my family brought our own fish that we caught and they turned it into ceviche and also fried and blackened it! It was so delicious!! The service was also impeccable. Our waiter was very kind and delivered food fast! We also got pasta, wings, and beef carpaccio! These were all amazing as well! I highly recommend this place!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic experience at Manglar Bar & Restaurant! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service really stood out. We sat outside under the awning, and our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable by setting up an extra fan for us along with the ceiling fan already above the table. That level of attention and care made the evening even better. Great food, great service, and a great vibe all around. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in Jaco, Costa Rica!
We had amazing food, atmosphere and staff. A great getaway restaurant off the beaten path with romantic one with nature scenery. Would totally recommend! We had Josselin and she was a wonderful waitress 🎉. Value 10/10!
OMG! This tucked away gem is a must stop on yourJaco culinary search. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Check out some of the the creations we enjoyed. The perfectly created libations were on point thanks to their mixology master behind the bar. And our waitress was awesome too--I can't recall a single need that went unattended--thanks Joslyn! One suggestion: Chain the chef to the stove and throw away the key!
