Los Tres Deseos

The place is nice, the service is good, but the food is terrible. The portions are small for the price; the assorted platter for two is barely enough to make an appetizer and costs over 14,000 colones. The pico de gallo had more flavor than the glass of water I ordered. The chorizo was overcooked, and the "palmeada" tortillas tasted like Maria cookies. The only decent things were the chicharrón, the patacones, and the yuca, which was cold inside, like it was thrown in frozen. A disappointment, and the arroz tres deseos was loaded with salt. Very small portions, high prices.
Recomiendo.
A very nice restaurant, close to the center, with an excellent view. I found it by chance on maps and decided to check it out. The person who served us was excellent, very friendly, and explained that there were some improvements and that we might find a little dirt on the tables, but assured us they would gladly clean it. They have some lovely walkways and places to take pictures. I ordered a chifijo (Peruvian-Chinese dish) and it was delicious. It didn't take long to get it to the table, which was a plus; few places are that fast. I think the prices are great for the place. I hope to return when I'm in the area.
