Magical evening after watching the sunset at Playa Bejuco. We had dinner here, and it was delicious. The owner is very accommodating and kind, and the food is fresh and delicious. I can highly recommend the fish ceviche here; the rest was delicious too! Come here if you want an authentic and feet-in-the-sand kind of vibe! We’re going back!
This is the kind of soda you hope to find when traveling in Costa Rica. We ordered the snapper fillet and the garlic octopus, and both were outstanding ; super fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully seasoned. You can immediately tell the seafood comes straight from the local fishermen. The place is small, cozy, and decorated with love, with seashell details that reflect its strong connection to the ocean. One of the best parts was hearing the owner cooking and smelling the food as it was being prepared, a true sign that everything is made from scratch, just like at home. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and her passion for cooking really shows on the plate. This isn’t tourist food; it’s honest, authentic Costa Rican cooking done right. If you’re near San Miguel, don’t skip this spot. A true local gem and a must for food lovers.
I went for dinner alone there and I was so pleased to be welcomed by Dora. She made my evening very special and the food was really fresh and tasty ; I highly recommend the ceviche. ! And the location feels very private and exclusive. Perfect for susnet !
This is a great place to grab some fresh seafood and traditional plates on the peninsula of Costa Rica. The service was great. The hostess was super friendly. When you’re in the area, make sure you stop by and grab some delicious entrées. Oh, did I mention the view of the coast is pretty neat as well. Check out all the wildlife like cranes.
