Our lunch at Ander's Restaurant was phenomenal. I had the chicken breast in Moroccan sauce and my wife had the jumbo shrimp with curry and papaya sauce. Both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes and vegetables that accompanied the meals were excellent as well. We also enjoyed a piña colada and a mango smoothie, both of which were outstanding. The food, drinks and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend if you're visiting the area!
Truly a gem! The food was amazing - fresh high quality ingredients, the taste was excellent and the service was outstanding. They were beyond kind to our son and even went out of their way to entertain him while we ate. It's their own restaurant and you can feel the love they put into it in every bite.
This was the best restaurant experience we had in Guanacaste! The food was incredibly tasty, Ander is an amazing chef and everything we ordered surpassed our expectations. Also, the service was impeccable and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, they even brought us bug spray for the mosquitoes at night! You will definitely want to come back as soon as possible.
Ander himself waited on us… We were here on a Wednesday and he had just opened. Food was amazingly good and fresh. Atmosphere is just OK as it’s open air and by a busy road but would definitely come back it was also a great value!
We had an absolutely unforgettable dining experience at Anders, in Brasalito Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and special. For dinner, My husband ordered the vegetarian fettuccine, which was bursting with flavor - perfectly crisp vegetables in the most incredible, rich cream sauce. I had the jumbo shrimp in a curry mango sauce served over mashed potatoes, and it was truly next level. The shrimp were tender, the sauce was beautifully balanced, and every bite felt thoughtfully crafted. The presentation of each dish was stunning, clearly a place where passion and artistry come together. Our server was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of throughout the evening. What made the experience even more memorable was the chef himself so warm, welcoming, and incredibly talented. He came out to greet us, and his genuine kindness.(including a big hug at the end!) made the night feel so personal and special. If you’re anywhere near Brasalito, Anders is an absolute must. This was more than just a meal. It was an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time!
