A Flawless Italian Dining Experience: Exceptional Service and Food Our visit to Lanterna was impeccable from start to finish. The high level of professionalism was evident from the moment I called to make a reservation; the staff was helpful on the phone, and our table was ready exactly when we arrived. Ambiance & Comfort: The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between elegant and family-friendly. The restaurant features spacious tables, and very comfortable chairs. Air conditioning at an ideal temperature. The Service: It is clear that the waitstaff is highly trained. They are friendly, fast, and incredibly efficient, paying close attention to every detail. The Food: • Appetizers: My daughter, who is quite the onion soup expert, claimed this was one of the best she has ever had. The focaccia with burrata was also outstanding—not just for the cheese, but for the extraordinary quality of the tomatoes, the texture of the bread, and the freshness of the arugula. • Main Courses: My children really enjoyed their pizzas, and my wife loved her Pasta Amatriciana. I had the veal-filled ravioli in a butter and lemon sauce; they were a true delight and easily among the best ravioli I have ever tasted. Value: The pricing is very reasonable considering the top-tier quality of the ingredients and the excellent service. If you are looking for a sophisticated yet welcoming meal in the Los Sueños/Jaco area, Lanterna is a must-visit!
Beautiful Los Suenos Marina views. We had stuffed portobello mushrooms, osso buco and dessert, and everything was delicious. Pricey but that is expected at the resort. Great service and atmosphere. Thank you
We had such a delicious pasta with scallops in pesto sauce that we returned after two days to have it again. The ambience is warm and welcoming, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to have a nice dinner on occasion.
