Portion sizes are incredibly tiny. A small piece of fish (the width of two shrimps), 3/4 cup of rice, and plantain mash costs $60-$70 CAD per person. This isn’t a fine dining restaurant, it’s informal and connected to the hotel. We would have dined elsewhere if we hadn’t checked in late. It doesn’t make sense to me how they can charge that much when the ingredients themselves are so cheap. Go elsewhere. Our total was 45000 colones (including 10% service fee and 13% VAT)
