We were traveling from the States to Costa Rica and were so happy to find this aesthetically pleasing Indian restaurant. The moment we walked in, Deepak greeted us with the warmest smile and made us feel right at home. He is truly the sweetest! If you're looking for authentic Indian food, please visit this place. We ordered mango lassi, biryani, and samosas, and every single item was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, the portions were great, and everything was a solid 10/10.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Exceptional Indian Dining Experience – Full Marks! My husband and I recently visited this wonderful Indian restaurant, and I can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations — earning a perfect score from both of us! The food was outstanding. The menu offered a beautiful range of flavors, from rich and aromatic curries to lighter, delicately spiced dishes. Every plate was bursting with authenticity and freshness. The service was equally impressive — attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly, without ever feeling rushed or intrusive. Especially the waiter Deepak made us feel truly welcome throughout the entire evening. What also surprised us was the atmosphere. The restaurant is located within a larger complex shared with several other venues — but they’ve done a remarkable job of creating their own cozy, intimate space. It felt wonderfully snug and inviting, a real little gem tucked away in its surroundings. If you’re looking for great Indian food, excellent service, and a charming ambiance, look no further. A well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars — we will absolutely be coming back!
The food, service and whole experience was above and beyond what I expected! Deepak was very friendly, helpful and happy to answer questions, and his service was provided with a smile. I asked for 5/10 spice level, and I feel it was accurate and perfect. Such a delicious meal! Tasty snacks served before the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Indian food.
Delicious! We had the butter chicken and the steak Korma and both were delicious but we loved the Korma the most. The beef was tender and not overcooked. The garlic naan was delicious and the rice was so light and fragrant.
We randomly bumped into this restaurant on our last stay in San Jose. The jalapeno paneer potlis was really good. The complimentary starter was ok. It felt old stock but the chutneys were really good. We ordered the chef's trio drink and it was mind blowing. Very very tasty and good presentation. Their lassi is really good. We also ordered masala tea and it was good for 2 people. We ordered paneer Tikka, laccha paratha and garlic naan and then vegetable pulao. Portion sizes are small for a restaurant in the strip mall. Vegetable pulao was very ok ish as the vegetables were definitely not fresh! Laccha paratha was very well done and so was garlic naan. Paneer Tikka also was ordinary. We have had better tasting before in US. The other thing was watch out for random strangers coming to sell you when you are sitting at this restaurant. Since it's in the strip mall and there's no enclosed area for the restaurant, people just drop by and ask you to buy their stuff. Watch out for your things....
