The best stop between Samara and Playa Coyote! If you're looking for an amazing meal, this is the place to be. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The Pasta La Casa was absolutely outstanding, and the steak was the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!
My kids and I had a late afternoon early dinner at Mar y Tierra and it was amazing! It had been recommended to us by everyone so my expectations were high and it still managed to exceed them. The food was all grilled over wood and had an amazing flavor. The meats were cooked perfectly and they included a nice selection of grilled vegetables with each entree. The portions were generous, Gabriella was a joy and great server, and Randy was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who happens to be within a reasonable drive. It will definitely be a repeat for us!
This is our second time to this hidden gem. It’s a beautiful little place on a gravel road, if you’re driving a little too fast it’s easy to miss. Randy is a wonderful host. We got the mixed grill dish. It was enormous!!! It’s meant to be shared and it definitely was plenty of food!! We took home leftovers. It comes with an appetizer which is Patacones, served with guacamole and salsa. Patacones are one of my favorite things here but I usually only want guacamole. But Randy’s salsa was the BEST salsa I’ve ever had!!! The mixed grill comes with 3 proteins, you get to choose between 6 options. Choices are chicken, pork,shrimp, steak,octopus or fish. We chose shrimp, chicken and steak, everything was cooked has requested. It was served with mountains of freshly cooked vegetables including grilled banana. The grilled banana was unusual but delicious, not a plantain but regular banana. If you’re in the area don’t miss this spot!! All of the drinks were also perfect
INCREDIBLE. All of the restaurants on our ATV trip were closed. We popped into this place and the staff was INCREDIBLE. We ordered family style - salad, meat of the day family style platter, and a seafood pasta. They fired up the grill and made it happen. Flawless and delicious. TYSM, AMIGOS!
We’ve been on the road for three weeks, and this was absolutely the best meal we’ve had. The food was just incredible! We eat only at locally owned places but this restaurant, run by two super friendly and welcoming brothers stood out! We had grilled pork and seafood with vegetables, all beautifully prepared! If you’re like me and like spicy food, ask for chilli - it’s their own, rich and smokey, without burning your lips! We loved everything! ❤️
