I had a disappointing experience yesterday. Ordered a blended cold coffee drink, and moments after it arrived at my table, I clumsily knocked the glass on its side on the table, while trying to get my straw out of the paper sleeve. The glass broke, and there was no recovery. I felt embarrassed and bad for the server who had to wipe up. The server asked if I wanted another one, and I said yes, as I hadn’t even sipped the other one. All good. But then the bill arrives and I was charged for both the spilled one, and the replacement one. Yes, it was my fault, but never in my years of dining have I ever seen someone accidentally spill a drink, and not get a replacement one for free as good business and customer service. Some places even have a fund set aside for when this happens. I was just really surprised. I’ve visited many times, and the service is always very friendly, the coffee, baked goods and pizza are great. Without the weird drink thing, five stars.
My husband and I had the Arugula & prosciutto pizza and the caramel flan. The food is tasty and the service is good. I enjoyed the design of the space and the overall atmosphere.
Stylish cafe with its own parking lot. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. The coffee was very good. A fruit plate with a little granola, Espresso, and Americano for $20 felt rather expensive overall.
My wife and I love going to this restaurant. Our biggest dilemma is whether to go for breakfast or lunch since both are incredible. Pizza is served after 11am. Pastries, Cinnamon Rolls and Muffins are cooked fresh each morning. The restaurant has a very intelligent layout. There is a separate register for carry-out orders which is easily accessible from the sidewalk. You can place your order then walk to adjacent stores while the food cooks.
Amazing coffee & pastries. Also really recommend the focaccia!! I love to come here and just sit for a while, the atmosphere is great to have a chat with friends or to spend time by yourself. Kind staff.
