We stopped here on our drive to the airport. The service and breakfast was amazing. They have all different Costa Rican decorations all over. Even with very little Spanish under our belt they were amazing helpful and patient! Definitely stop here.
As other reviews said, off the main road but worth a visit! Local, family run soda with great service. They gave us a little appetizer to try while we waited for our main meals which was nice. Tried the ribs and the tablita de chicharrones dish. Pickled jalapeno was so good
Whoa! Off the beaten path but technically super close to the main road. Incredibly friendly and kind staff. Incredible tostadas made in the morning on a gorgeous old cast iron wood burning stove. We loved it and plan on going again on our way back to San Juan. Soup, empanada, ribs, everything was incredible!
