We ordered the Catch of the Day fish with red sauce and the Seafood Rice. The food arrived after more than 20 minutes, which was acceptable, but the fish was served with white sauce instead of the red sauce we ordered. The Seafood Rice was flavorful, although a bit too salty for our taste. The bigger issue was the service. After our water was finished, we requested a refill and waited over 15 minutes without receiving it. When another staff member came by, we asked again, but the water still never arrived. It may have been due to staff shortages or a busy period, but it left us feeling overlooked. The food had potential, but the service experience could be improved.

We've eaten here twice now and thinking about going a third time before we go home. Both times have been excellent food and really good value for money, the portions are also very generous. The first visit we had the whole fish with salad and fried plantain, seafood rice with fries and salad, calamari with fries and rice with chicken, bacon and shrimp with fries. 2nd visit all for of us had the whole fried fish with salad and fries instead of plantain. Food and service were faultless 👍

We got the information about this place from our hotel. The food was pretty good considering the price. Day 1 we had the seafood platter for 2, and Day 2 we got the rice with seafood and the fried whole fish. Both days were good, but not particularly memorable. The service were a bit lacking, we have to fill our water several times by ourselves in both day. And it could be the customary in this area. Don't forget to watch the sunset around 5:40 pm.

Absolutely remarkable place for great seafood. It's cheaper than places in Manuel Antonio and food is so good, we came for another dinner again. They serve huge portions and delicious meals with a wide choice. Service was super friendly and relaxed, it leaves very good impression.

We had an incredible experience at Sabromar! Our group of eight came to celebrate two 40th birthdays, and the night couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere was lively, the food was delicious, and everything came together seamlessly. A huge shoutout to Marita, our server, who truly went above and beyond. She handled our large group with ease, made everyone feel taken care of, and added such a warm, personal touch to the celebration. She made the birthday ladies feel extra special, and her attention to detail made the whole evening unforgettable. If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a place that knows how to make a celebration feel meaningful, Sabromar is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!
