Very slow service, it was very crowded. We ordered fish and they told us it would take at least an hour. We ordered a fish fillet in a "mouth" (two pieces of fish 🤏🏼) with four plantain chips, without salt, the fish tasted greasy. We ordered a seafood platter with garlic sauce, and a seafood platter arrived, along with a casado (traditional Costa Rican dish) in white sauce, barely edible. We still had to wait almost an hour for our food. I hope it was because they were full. The prices were okay, but the quality could be improved.
On Saturday, March 14th, I celebrated my birthday there based on recommendations from friends, and I loved it. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I highly recommend it. Just arrive early to find a parking spot.
I’m gonna write it in English so everyone can understand how good this Casado is. I’ve been travelling for one full month in Costa Rica, eating 5-7 Casado per week. This one is by far the best I’ve eaten ! Very good quality food ! Plantains are from their own field, everything is super tasty and fresh ! Thank you to the owners and cook ! This should be in Michelin guide just for the Casado 😳
