The owner of Carpediem Restaurant and Lounge is from the Puglia region of Italy and brings his knowledge of traditional dishes and fuses them with modern flavors and techniques to make entirely unique meals. The menu is full of amazing items including fantastic pastas, wildly flavored meats, exotic seafood dishes, and the best steaks available in Costa Rica. Some of our favorites include the White Parmigiana Eggplant with Manchego and Tuscany sausage sauce - WOW. The Ravioli stuffed with wild duck and Italian ham with a butter sage sauce make my mouth water just thinking about it. My wife enjoyed the sea bass cooked 'Al Cartoccio' with leeks and cherry tomatoes. The most exciting dish for me was the pan seared beef tenderloin. The ambiance at Carpediem Restaurant is classy and comfortable. The black and white theme wiht stucco walls makes you feel like you are in dining in Italy. It seems every detail was carefully thought through in order to create an amazing space that welcomes you to sit and enjoy the delightful meal that awaits you.
Carpediem also has a lounge attached to the restaurant. This is a great place to meet friends and enjoy a few drinks before dinner. They have a full bar with food service and a VIP area.
