Meet our very amiable captain who will be encouraging you throughout the activity and while our outgoing guide will be teaching you how to stand on the board and will give you plenty of safety instructions. Once you're ready to give it a try your guide will plunk your board into the water. Start by paddling out on your knees and when you are ready, stand up and find your balance! Stand Up Paddling looks exactly as it sounds: you stand up on a large, wide, super buoyant board (similar to a surfboard) & use a long paddle to move yourself along. You'll feel like you're walking on water! As we embark on our journey out to the middle of Lake Arenal, you’ll be blown away by all of the natural beauty of Volcano Arenal. You will bike along Lake Arenal and pass along the rainforest, rural farmlands, and wildlife. You'll have the chance to see different kinds of monkeys, toucans, coatimundis, and more throughout this beautiful landscape! You will bike on a gravel road that stretches 24km crossing the caño negro river towards Rio Chiquito. Afterward, return to your hotel in our vans equipped with free wifi.
