Food was well prepared with good flavor and good portion, prices were affordable, plenty of typical Costa Rican options and drinks were self-service, plenty of parking lot and bathrooms were clean, customer service was good but not sure if bilingual service is given.
Simple but delicious local cuisine at very fair prices.
The gallo pinto was wonderful, the fried eggs and bacon were awesome. Went here multiple times during our visit to Jaco. The staff very friendly.
We tried Restaurante Rústicos for dinner because it seemed like a spot locals actually go to, and it didn’t disappoint. There’s a big variety of dishes — chicken, beef, seafood, and even some local options I hadn’t seen anywhere else, like banana ceviche. Everything is very affordable, drinks come with free refills, and the whole place has a relaxed, no‑frills atmosphere. A great choice if you want something tasty, local, and low‑key.
