Visited this Spanish food restaurant for dinner. Not a big fan of its gastronomy but still gave it a chance. 45 minute wait for a paella that took 10 minutes to make. It wasn’t the greatest. The cook was very nice and served the paella for us but still wasn’t that good. Also tried papas bravas which were very simple. Ordered 2 cups of wine so bill was a bit expensive around $120 for the paella, papas bravas y 2 cups of wine. Not worth it in my opinion. On the other hand they had a lovely Cat Hanging around the place which made the experience more enjoyable! Wouldn’t go back tho. Unless you’re really into Spain food.
A local guy recommended us this restaurant. We ordered at 17.45 and the paella arrived to our table more than two hours later. No apology from anyone… Food was good but not great. The absolute highlight was the amazing cat at the garden.
We looked for a cozy restaurant for dinner and peeked inside - gotcha! Very happy to found Paella on the Menu, and that we are two... Atmosphere in this place is very relaxed, we ordered Sangria to drink - normally we won't do that. BUT it's worth a try... fresh made with an quality redwine, very tasty and not sweet. The Paella was excellent, too. Lots of seafood in, and with a very nice crusty part. For Dessert we shared a Crema Catalana, which was very good like all of the things we get. I would recommend this place absolutely and visit a second time, if our route comes across Puerto Viejo again.
