This dinner was incredible from start to finish. Two outstanding chefs curate a Mediterranean menu bursting with flavors. We enjoyed a ceviche, braised short ribs, and shrimp, not to mention the dessert. We’re still talking about it and I’m sure I’m going to dream about it!
Outstanding. It’s remarkable just how remarkable this place was. I’ve eaten Mediterranean food in many places… this restaurant outshines just about any other. Some of the dishes offered some unique styles of dishes I was familiar with. We had the spanakopanadas… outstanding. The beef short rib was phenomenal, probably our favorite of all the dishes. The chicken was excellent. The kebab was also fantastic. I took a picture of the kebab only after I had dismantled about half or more. Fortunately, I took pictures of the desserts before I tore through those. Highly recommend. Not to mention, the team there was awesome.
An incredible experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is intimate, cozy, and welcoming, with a beautiful view of the forest from the terrace that makes the dining experience even more special. The food was simply outstanding. My husband and I ordered an appetizer, main courses, and desserts—a total of six dishes—and honestly, we couldn’t decide which one was the best. Every single dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with great care. I’d also like to highlight the excellent service. Natalie was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly throughout our visit. Bartender Meredith also deserves special recognition for her kindness and excellent work. Without a doubt, this is a restaurant worth visiting and one that left us with wonderful memories!
An unforgettable dining experience at Cava in Manuel Antonio! From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated, intimate, and beautifully curated. The food was absolutely exceptional each dish was not only visually stunning but full of rich, layered flavors. From the perfectly crafted appetizers to the fresh seafood pasta and creative presentations, every bite felt like a work of art. What truly made the night special, though, was Ivanna. Her service was beyond amazing attentive without being intrusive, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on and elevated our entire experience. She made us feel welcomed, taken care of, and like VIP guests throughout the evening. Cava is the perfect blend of ambiance, creativity, and top-tier hospitality. If you’re in Manuel Antonio, this is a must-visit and if you’re lucky enough to have Ivanna as your server, you’re in for an even more incredible experience. Highly recommend—10/10.
Our experience was PHENOMENAL. We were welcomed warmly and seated without a reservation. The ambiance, service, food and overall attentiveness to our culinary and hospitality enjoyment was so elegantly delivered to us. I have a severe gluten allergy and the owner explained everything they could do accommodate on the menu and what they couldn’t and why! To those with a food issue, this is wonderful and so helpful. We enjoyed a delightful dinner and a fabulous desert. I also had a piece of wonderful gluten free bread that was so moist and wonderful, not dense it was like areal piece of regular bread. Thank you to the Chef’s for making what was originally a difficult evening at another restaurant the best WIN for my husband and myself and our last evening in Manuel Antonio. We wish you continued success.
