The best chicken fajitas we had during our entire Costa Rica trip! Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The waitress was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast and effortless from start to finish. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
Beautiful setting. We relaxed on beach loungers while sipping a late and beer. At dusk we ordered a hamburger. It was the best hamburger I have had in Costa Rica. We live in Central Valley and have discovered it is very hard to find a good hamburger in Costa Rica. The hamburger was juicy, full of flavor, large and the fries where very hot and fresh. The service was excellent! The owner was very attentive and kind. After the sun set, candles were brought out to our chairs. A jug of cold water and glasses were provided without asking and refreshed when it ran out. A beautiful setting and delicious meal!
We didn’t stay at the hotel but had an amazing meal (on the beach at sunset) at the restaurant. The catch of the day (grouper) in particular was incredible, and our server and the kitchen team did a fantastic job dealing with my annoying food intolerances. The tropical IPA beer was also great - it’s hard to find really good beer at restaurants here!
The food was very good. Huge portions, lovely beachside seating area, and good service. Also the best IPA we had in the region. A must try is the patacones. It comes with the best guacamole I've ever had.
After staying in Manzanillo for a month, we tried all of the local spots. Colores ended up being one of our favorites for a delicious relaxing meal, and we frequented after our first visit. The food options are perfect for anyone. A beautiful fruit plate is available, delicious local seafood (including lobster, which is incredibly tasty). The music is never too loud, so you’re able to have a nice conversation. Sometimes they offer live music. Their drink selection is top tier- including a great selection of liquors such as Bourbon and Rums. The service is 5 star worthy, but you can feel the local family environment as you chat with Marsella. Her and her husband are doing an amazing job, and I would highly recommend stopping here for your nightly meal or a nice breakfast. Dessert tip- check out the mango cheesecake- you will not regret it.
