'Sport Fishing Dominical' is a new specialized business in the South Pacific of Costa Rica. Its operational base is Hotel Cuna del Angel. Our boat is located at the Pez Vela Marine in Quepos, 25 miles north from Dominical. This marina is located 31 miles north of Furuno Bank making the trip to the fish very short.
Our goal is customized and professional service for our clients. We ask our clients before the tour their preferences about fishing, drinks and meals on board, departure time before and so on. There are chances to make sashimi, ceviche (raw fish with lemon juice) and coffee on board. We go where the fish are, no mileage limitations.
Our Custom 35 footer is equipped with twin Cummings Turbo Diesel 280 hp, a Tuna Tower, fly bridge, out riggers, double controls, radar, 3D sonar, GPS, 6 tuna tubes, live well, fighting chair, wide cabin, 1 bedroom, inside head , Tackle and Shimano and Tiagra equipment.
Our Sport Fishing operation follows the rules from IGFA (International Game Fishing Association): Catch and Release. Only when a fish is wounded or too exhausted to survive, we take the fish on board and bring it home. Under this rules we classify the following fish: Sword Fish, Saw Fish, all kind of Marlins and Sail Fish. All other types can be taken home, if they are not too small. We do not 'trophy hunting fishing', it is only for sport and pleasure.
