This gem is a short drive from Quepos with ample parking. The beautiful walk to the cafe and butterfly garden is about 75 yards. The food is delicious, and the coffee drinks come with the image of a sloth or butterfly on the top. The setting is awesome and waitresses are very kind. The menu is in both Spanish and English, and the portions are very large.

Artisanal breakfast, tasty, and great ambiance. The walk to the restaurant was beautiful, you can hear and see howler monkeys if sitting on the patio. The butterfly garden was a wonderful visit after breakfast. They were also happy to accommodate nut allergies.

TLDR; Loved everything here. This was our first stop in Manuel Antonio after a long drive from Drake Bay. Everything we ordered was really good - it tasted fresh, flavorful and just all round satisfying. The mango con agua was 💯 and so refreshing. Portions were pretty generous too! This might not be your typical traditional food joint but it’s such a good example of quality food if you’re looking for non Costa Rican food.

Cute spot for a quick bite at lunch and be in nature! We had carrot cake (huge slice!), beef empanadas, colombian arepas, and colombian almojabanas. Everything was super yummy. also tried the fresh watermelon, mango, and chai latte drinks. Would’ve liked a bit more mango as it was a little watery but still yummy. You walk past the excursion booth by the road and then through the forest a bit before you see the cafe. The butterfly conservatory is also free with the cafe visit.

We visited this breakfast café and tried four different breakfast dishes, and every single one of them was really delicious. The ingredients were extremely fresh and full of flavor – you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Everything was beautifully prepared and incredibly tasty. We also had several drinks including coffee, cappuccino, Americano, and latte. All of them were very good: well made, aromatic, and exactly what you want from a great breakfast spot. The service was okay – friendly and doing its job – but the real highlight of this place is without a doubt the atmosphere. The setting is absolutely amazing, surrounded by nature, and the butterflies make it feel truly special. It creates a calm, beautiful, and almost magical environment that turns a simple breakfast into a memorable experience. If you are looking for a breakfast place with fresh food, great coffee, and a stunning natural atmosphere, this café is definitely worth a visit. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back again.
