We visited this restaurant in November 2025 and had a wonderful meal! The owner and his family are incredibly friendly, and you really feel welcome there. On top of that, the food is truly delicious and fresh.
We finally made it for sunset tonight-our 1st visit. What an amazing spot! The view is insane and food and drinks were delicious. Our server was lovely and the entire staff was so friendly. Can’t wait to return!!
My hubby and I were fortunate to be staying a 2 minute walk away from La Pala and decide to have dinner there. What a delight! From the moment we got there, the unique and creative use of pieces of an older Caterpillar excavator for the structure of the restaurant were a point of discussion for quite some time. The owner, Señor Morales was happy to share the story of how that came to be. Quite the story! Then there was the food….delicious. I had shrimp in curry sauce and my hubby had a chicken Caesar salad along with cocktails that were very good. The service was great and the VIEW…topped off a wonderful experience! Highly recommend.
Went here in February 2025 for dinner. Great atmosphere and views, and the family who run the restaurant were very friendly and service minded. Only minus that my drink (a margarita) was not so good. Overall the best restaurant experience we had in Ojochal!
Food was great, would highly recommend for going with your family or just for the nice view. Slightly hidden with a very nice open dining area, will definitely go again! The service was great, the cook and waiter were super positive, the cook took extra care in every meal.
