Excellent seafood restaurant with massive portions. Get one ceviche to share and an entree each. We had the arroz con mariscos and the whole red snapper in a delicious coconut curry sauce.
The food was delicious!! I ordered the ribeye and shrimp and rice. My friend ordered the chicken cordon bleu. My steak was cooked perfectly and tender. Also the gravy for my steak was so delicious!! The shrimp and rice was perfect!! This may have been the best meal I’ve had so far!!

The casado was a strong option as well, offering a variety of traditional sides that made for a complete and filling meal. The grilled fish with seafood was another highlight, bringing fresh flavors and a nice combination of textures. Overall, La Ostra delivers a good mix of local favorites and refreshing drinks, making it a reliable choice in La Fortuna.
Best meal I’ve ever had. Best piña Colada and I only drink occasionally. Had it for dessert. Christian was a fantastic Camerero!! I can’t tell you enough!! I highly recommend eating here. FABULOUS!! Remember to #Liveyourabundantlife #jennifermonk
Great service and the food was well done. Portions were good size. Good for families and groups outdoor eating. Right on the main road so convenient but have you listen to the traffic and large trucks rolling by. Televisions set to a variety of old television shoes and soccer.
