We really enjoyed the zip lines we went on! Unfortunately, the last one was closed so we missed out on the one that brought us down to the bottom and instead had to hike down. I feel like the least they could have done was inform us ahead of time. Also, the "aerial tram tour" is absolutely not a tour - it's simply how they ferry you up to the top of the first zip line. I honestly feel that's a bit of false advertising there. The guides were great and extremely friendly!
I was so excited leading up to this adventure but disappointed after leaving. I paid about $60 for a self guided tram ride. I was in a tram all by myself but upon ascent i couldn't help notice how low and open the rails are. If I panicked or wanted to return there was no way to communicate with park employees. There was a walkie in the car but no one instructed me on when/why/how to use. There should at minimum be a mesh screen around the trams and at the top on the observation platform because if you slip you are gone. Guests sign waivers prior to entering the park which appears to release the park from the burden of any incidents. Perhaps safety is focused more on the zip liners rather than tram riders but both the guard rails and barriers on the tram and at the lookout points are way too low and open. Considering the elevation level the guard rails should at least be 48" but even on me they aren't even waist high...and I'm 62" tall. As far as animals, I think the girest is too dense to see anything. I saw one small iguana sunning up at the overlook platform.
Great mountain jungle tour! Takes you off the beaten path - this is a hidden gem! Full restaurant and bar, gift shop, many tour options. Very clean and very safe. We enjoyed the gondola up the mountain. Highly recommended for couples or groups!
This zipline tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The operation is top-notch, extremely well run, and clearly prioritizes safety without sacrificing fun. The staff were some of the nicest and most professional people we met during our trip—they made everyone feel comfortable and confident. Everything felt very safe, and the photos are fantastic, making it easy to bring home wonderful memories. If that was not enough, another highlight was the butterfly garden, where we had the chance to interact closely with them—some even landed on us, which made for such a magical and memorable moment. One of the true highlights of our Costa Rica trip—highly recommended.
