Jaco Bar is our favorite spot in town to stop in for a drink and a quick snack while wandering around Jaco. They have a great selection of beer and liquor at fair prices, and a cool vibe. The staff is consistently friendly, bilingual, and fun. An extra shoutout to Alejandra for being awesome! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
This is my favorite bar whenever I visit Jaco beach. The food they serve here is excellent. They servers and bartenders are always effervescent making for a great atmosphere. They have 2 floors, a bar downstairs and one upstairs. Upstairs also has an outdoor deck where you can eat, drink, relax, and people watch. They have a DJ on a nightly basis playing great music. Always recommend. The beer is always ice cold & their cocktails are excellent, try the pina colada.
We had such a great time at this bar! The atmosphere was fun, the drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent. Melany went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—she was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She really made our experience memorable. We’ll definitely be back and hope to see Melany again!
The grilled mahi mahi tacos were good overall, but not especially memorable. The fish itself was fresh, tender, and cooked nicely, which I appreciated. However, the toppings were pretty minimal and didn’t add much flavor or contrast, so the tacos felt like they were missing something to really make them stand out. My fiancé ordered the pulled pork Cuban, and that was the highlight of our visit. He said it was fantastic! Very flavorful, tender, and well put together. You could tell it was made with care, and he’d definitely order it again. The fries were also really good. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and a great side to go with the sandwich.
Second time here and still loved it. We had appetizers and a couple of drinks, which were all great. The music was also nice. Can come as a couple or a group, the vibes were pretty chill.
