Reviews
Our stay at Villa Jacquelinea was overall decent, but it didn’t particularly stand out. Our expectations beforehand were not very high, yet we still felt that the price was on the higher side for what was ultimately offered. On the positive side, the service was very good. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. This created a pleasant atmosphere and is definitely something worth highlighting. The pool area was also nice and perfectly fine for relaxing, even though it wasn’t anything exceptional. The rooms were pretty much as shown in the pictures, so there were no surprises. It was clear from the beginning that they wouldn’t be especially modern or high-end, and for a short stay they were acceptable. However, one downside was the air conditioning, which could have worked more effectively and made the room more comfortable, especially considering the climate. Breakfast was good and offered a nice start to the day, which added a positive touch to the overall experience. In summary, Villa Jacquelinea is an okay option if you know what to expect, but considering the price, there may be better value alternatives available.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hostel in Costa Rica! The property is stunning, with lots of plants and great common areas to relax. The pool and rooftop terrace were definite highlights – the sunset views are breathtaking. Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with air conditioning. We were welcomed with a tea upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The owner took the time to explain everything and was incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the activities offered, but they looked great. Overall, a very special place with a warm and welcoming vibe. We only stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!
We stayed for 6 nights total in 2 different rooms. Villas Jacquelina was a perfect home base for exploring the area! The vibe of the place is relaxed and sweet. Comfy beds, Delicious breakfasts, Plenty of spacious common areas to hang out alone or with the staff and other guests. They’re very helpful with booking experiences and transportation and are generous with their knowledge of the area. The walk into Quepos/bus station is quick and easy 10ish minutes… we spent the week without a car and still saw almost everything. Highly recommended!
We spent two nights in Villa Jaqueline from 19-21 Apr ´26 after a 16 day´s hike from the Atlantic to the Pacific at Quepos. There we met the best we could imagine and felt straightaway at home in the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. A lot of space in our three-room apartment and at the shared facilities like roof terrace, yoga space and garden pool. A nicely individualistic and creative designed, quiete location surrounded by much green and extensive development, allthough only 15 minutes walk to the city.
We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Beds were very comfortable, staff were lovely and welcoming, and there were so many communal spaces to relax. The views were great, and we really appreciated having the little gym after so many days of relaxing by the beach and eating Gallo Pinto everyday! We wish we had more time to spend using the pool and taking part in the activities hosted by the villas. Thanks for a lovely stay
