Janie’s Retreat in Caldera was a wonderful stay. Laurie was a gracious and friendly host with a beautiful smile who made everyone feel welcome. Fabian prepared a delicious meal that was beautifully presented, and Christofer did an excellent job keeping the grounds spotless and well maintained. I would gladly stay here again
We had a fantastic experience staying at Jane’s Beach! The host was so kind and welcoming, the room was very nice and had everything we needed, the pool was lovely, and it’s only a 2-3min walk down the property to the beach. It’s a great environment for groups/families and is a pretty private location. I would highly recommend staying here!
Laurie and Fabi made this the best stay in Costa Rica. The hotel is amazing and even though I want to keep this pearl to myself, I have to just wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting an amazing stay. Laurie and Fabi just make this stay unforgettable and amazing. Thank you so much! 😍
Janets resort was very cozy, the staff took great care of us, and the French owner helped us complete beginners get to know Costa Rica better. This place is a easy going pearl for those who want things to run smoothly. Strong recommendation.
We booked 1 night here to break up a long drive, we absolutely loved this little hotel!! Laurie the hotel manager was a delight, she sent great directions to find the property and access our rooms, and was full of excellent advice on the town, including where to find vegan food. We had 2 rooms, both were clean, private, and very comfortable. The pool was amazing and available whenever we wanted. There were 3 dogs on site and all were friendly and adorable. The fresh cooked breakfast add-on was one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica! We don't have any reason to visit Puntarenas again, but we will most definitely make a stop at Jane's Beach Resort for a night or two next time we're in the area.
