The hotel is right at the Manuel Antonio park entrance making it very convenient. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant with the pacific amazing view was great. The service was excellent- especially Francisco providing great tips and explanations, and Giovanni who was there all the time for any question or need we had The bed was a little soft for me but is a personal opinion

A nice hotel. Excellent location with great pools. The pool facilities were excellent. The central location both to restaurants and shops and it is right beside manual Antonio National Park entrance. We had a ground floor room. Each morning the cleaning staff congregated outside. We got very little rest because of the noise from their staff radios which kept us awake from early morning. The food was expensive

What an amazing stay at San Bada! The service was Top Notch from the moment we called to reserve (called the hotel directly). Gerardo Martinez took care of receiving us and making sure our Anniversary celebration was memorable. The food was AMAZING! The sushi on the rooftop bar, with those views is an experience in itself. Adult rooftop pool to refresh after long days hiking. And the hotel backs up to Manuel Antonio reserve, so we had monkeys galore on our balcony everyday. Ask for 4th or 5th floor room, you will have a view of the forests’ tree canopies and will be able to see all kinds of fauna! Amazing experience at San Bada!

Gorgeous hotel located at the entrance to the national park and to the beach. Beside the fact that there are a few reckless raccoons and a lot of monkeys roaming around, this place is special. At night, you are hearing the real jungle sounds and it is definitely an experience to go through in your life. The service at the hotel is excellent and very helpful. The food is decent in general but the sushi at the terrace is a must. The whole experience is worthy considering the premium prices.

Truly enjoyed our experience and the vibe of this hotel. Right outside the entrance to Manual Antonio (you literally drive up to the gate and then turn right), very short path to a beautiful beach, and the team at the hotel was great. We visited a couple other hotels for dinner during our stay and the vibe there was more stuffy than “pura vida”. The staff at San Bada appears to truly enjoy working together and their joy seems authentic; that is the type of establishment I prefer to support. Thank you for a great stay!
