Amazing hotel. It was actually one of my favorite places that I stayed at in Costa Rica. This charming little boutique hotel just felt so comfy. Everything was clean and I enjoyed all the little amenities they offered. They have a jacuzzi, a bonfire, and even a laundry room that you can take advantage of during certain hours of the day, for free! The only thing you need to pay for is extra Tide Pods. There’s a shared kitchen area as well, which was fully equipped. The rooms were super clean and my room had a fridge. I just really looked forward to going back to my hotel room in the evening after exploring Fortuna :) it is also very close to the town center, walking distance to many restaurants and whatnot. I didn’t even have a car and didn’t feel like I needed one as a solo traveller. The staff were also very helpful! They greet you at the door and give you a little tour of the property. The free coconut was a great touch as well! Overall, would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Fortuna. It was amazing!
My family of 4 (14 and 17 year old) stayed at Suwa during our visit to La Fortuna! The location was perfect. Walking distance to a lot of shops/restaurants. The room itself was spacious and my boys loved the little loft area. We had two little patios. The community kitchen was perfect. We ordered food from Ketchup and ate it in the kitchen area and it was lovely. They have a washer and dryer you can use. We lost hot water around 11 pm one night and our host responded immediately and had us hot water in no time! I can’t say enough about this place. It’s precious and I highly recommend!
We stayed at Villas Suwa for 4 nights. The location is perfect! You’re right in town, you can walk everywhere, but this property makes you feels miles away from everything. It feels like a secret jungle garden. The rooms are small but cozy, the shared kitchen is wonderful, and the 3 washers and dryers available for your use are perfect for washing your dirty clothes from spending the day hiking and adventuring. We loved staying here because it felt like it enhanced our first trip to Costa Rica! We definetly reccomend. I really don’t have anything negative to say.
What a beautiful little place. Rooms were modern with tasteful decor, clean, and comfortable. The gardens surrounding the property were lovely. The cold jacuzzi was great to relax in during the afternoon. Very close to center of town. Would 100% recommend this place.
Wow, where do I even start? From the moment we got there, the host was waiting for us and showed us around the place, then welcomed us with fresh, cold coconut water. We checked in, and it was super easy and smooth. The customer service was awesome, and the rooms were always clean and smelled so good, like a spa. The location is great, and there's free parking right in front of the Villa. The employees are super friendly and even helped us book a bunch of tours while we were in La Fortuna. The shared kitchen is spotless and has everything you could possibly need to make meals, like breakfast. The fridge is super cold and clean to keep your groceries. The washing/dryer machine worked perfectly to clean our wet clothes. Every day I got a message asking if everything was ok and if we needed room service. It is very close to the center of the town and you can walk to everything. I totally recommend this place and would definitely book again.
