This place is an incredible gem in the rainforest! Very close to Manuel Antonio park but tucked away with the jungle and wildlife surrounding it. The pool is relaxing and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Highly recommend!!
Wonderfull, tastefull hotel with a very friendly staff. We had a beautiful, complete decorated room with a view in the jungle. There is a nice swimming pool from and terrace from wich you can spot a lot of animals. Breakfast is super. Love this hotel. ❤️
Beautiful and clean, and the staff are exceptional. Breakfast is a sit-down and order situation, not a buffet- good selection and delicious. We were charmed by the hotel cat Havana, who clearly rules the area and loves to get pets from his human subjects. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature, and we saw squirrel monkeys, scarlet macaws, iguanas, little lizards, huge chill toads, and many other little wildlife friends while lounging on the patio. The front desk is very responsive, and guided us to many excellent excursions and transportation options.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza Yara. Although the hotel appears to be on a busy road, The rooms are tranquil and open up onto a quiet pool area and forest view. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The rooms all have a small sink and fresh coffee to make in the coffee machine provided .The staff there are hugely helpful. Mauriel showed us to our rooms and was very so very helpful during our day. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The reception area is full of the most beautiful art. Highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was the most aesthetically pleasing place we’ve stayed. Although it is just off the main road, the rooms and 2 pools are surrounded by trees. We had a private deck next to the pool as well. We played in the pool for hours. Everyone was very kind and easy to work with. The breakfast was good and they accommodated our early times as well. We did not have a car and it was a bit difficult to walk on the busy street, so we took Ubers most of the time. Since we traveled in the busy season, that was a bit expensive. The hotel is midway between quepos and Manuel Antonio, so nothing was very far. It is also nice to look around the attached art gallery.
