Great place to stay with a super helpful and kind host. Absolutely loved the outdoor pool and hot tub… very unique and relaxing. Their traditional Costa Rican breakfast was the best meal I had on the island. The bed was very comfortable and you can get a massage in the trees listening to the forest.
My boyfriend and I shared one of the pool-side rooms for 3 nights, and we now wish we could have extended our stay. From the beginning of the trip, the owner, Stephan, welcomed and assisted us with planning our stay and ensured we would enjoy our time in Manuel Antonio. The room was very clean and included all necessities. We slept like angels every night. The grounds were kept impeccably clean by the staff, who were all so friendly and accommodating. We loved lounging outside by the pool and relaxing in the lovely jacuzzi every night. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning while chatting with other guests and staff, which really gave us a warm community feel. I simply cannot recommend Casa del Arbol enough. I knew the place was going to be cute, but it's beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend it for the delicious breakfast, welcoming environment, and overall relaxing atmosphere.
We had an incredible stay at this fantastic hotel tucked away in the beautiful jungle of Manuel Antonio. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by wildlife parrots, monkeys, and the peaceful sounds of nature all around. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with large beds and even a bathtub, which made it feel extra relaxing after a day of exploring. Ours was conveniently located near the pool, which was a perfect bonus. The pool area is beautiful, and the heated jacuzzi is a real highlight especially at night, listening to the jungle sounds. One of the most relaxing experiences you could ask for on vacation. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and honestly something not to skip such a great way to start the day in a calm, peaceful setting. The staff were all amazing friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. You will need a car or taxi to get around to town or the beach, but honestly, this jungle retreat is so peaceful it feels worth staying in and unwinding. A truly special place to relax, recharge, and fully enjoy Costa Rica. We would definitely come back again.
Incredible experience in this fantastic place. Room near the pool was perfect. Large hot tub for relaxing after a busy day of fun was just right. You will need a car, or better use a taxi to get into town or to the beach. This jungle-set gem is perfect for you to relax and enjoy. If you skip breakfast, your loss! The food is incredible. Staff were all great. Stephan is phenomenal.
I had an amazing stay at Casa del Árbol—it’s one of those places that feels special the moment you arrive. Tucked right into the jungle and surrounded by trees, it’s peaceful, private, and full of life. You’re just a short trip from the beach, great local restaurants, and even the national park, but honestly, I didn’t feel much of a need to leave. Other than going to see the ocean, everything I wanted was right there and food and groceries can be delivered! The treehouse is absolutely incredible and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The huge jacuzzi (it has a roof so you can enjoy it rain or shine) was a huge highlight. The pool is beautiful, and I saw so much incredible wildlife without even leaving the hotel. Breakfast was also a standout—fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care in a beautiful kitchen. What really makes this place unforgettable, though, is the atmosphere and the people. The staff and owner create such a genuinely friendly and welcoming environment that you instantly feel at home. Plus there are two of the most friendliest dogs on property. And at night, the whole place transforms—the lighting, the sounds of the jungle, the privacy—it becomes this completely different, almost magical experience that just makes you want to stay in and enjoy it
