Description

TwiLight and Night Tour in the Drake Bay jungle is a guided walk through rainforest terrain after dusk, when many animals, insects, and other creatures that are hidden during the day become active. It’s about seeing the jungle in a different light (i.e. moonlight, flashlight light), hearing different sounds, and discovering wildlife that sleeps during the day but comes alive at night. ere are typical features: Start time: Usually after 3.30 pm to 8:30 pm. Duration: About 4 to 5 hours is common. Some tours go about .5 hours. Route / Terrain: Jungle trails; possibly crossing secondary and primary forest, riverbanks, creek beds. Expect paths that might be muddy or slippery, sometimes wet feet if crossing minor streams. What is provided: Guide (often bilingual: English / Spanish), rubber boots (or advise to bring appropriate footwear), headlamps or flashlights. Sometimes rain gear, insect repellent is recommended. What to bring: Long pants, long sleeves if possible, insect repellent, water, flashlight or headlamp, maybe a rain jacket depending on season.
