Wonderful way to start the morning with a Caribbean breakfast at Gigi Beach, across the street from Le Camaleón. Good coffee, fresh fruit, and a ample breakfast buffet to satisfy European, American, and Caribbean diets. The staff is genuinely sweet to all customers, Alfredo at the bar is a genuine star, and was sweet to all the customers I saw having breakfast. I forgot the mention it's right on the beach of Playa Cocles, pura vida!
I spent several days resting at Le Cameleon, and went everyday to Gigi Beach Club (in Cocles, Puerto Viejo). It was amazing! From the service to the food and cocktails, and of course the attention of the team there! I don’t remember all the names, but some come to my mind, that made my days at the club really special: Katy, Diego, Alfredo, Roland (or Ronald?). Diego, Katy, the bartender and the “pizza man” saved one of the nights when I arrived an hour late to my reservation! That was really Pura Vida vibes with them! I can truly recommend the gin tonics, the Verduro sushi, patacones with guacamole and pico de gallo, and pineapple shake! If you happen to go to the Caribe Sur of Costa Rica, make sure you go to Gigi Beach Club! P.S.: Management at Gigi beach, as a team leader myself, I can tell you: you have such an amazing, caring, respectful and friendly team!
Slightly pricey but good food. Even better ambience, plating and decor.
The restaurant has a great vibe. Cool outdoor restaurant. The steak tacos were good and the red snapper was really good. The fish was really fresh. The latte was really good.
We ate here every day and every meal was spectacular. I love the Costa Rican Mornings and the Herbal Cold Brew. The view of the sea is my favorite. Friendly staff, great vibes.
