I paid $106 per night for my room, 24, which is appropriate. The location is ideal at the south side of the beach. Little risk of rip tides and perfect for beginner surf lessons. The staff is nice but could use some training to earn the 4 stars. My safe was not working and the light bulb was out in the room hallway. That’s the first switch you turn on in the room. They also don’t provide beach towels in this “beach club”. My greatest advice is not to overpay and be sure to ask about room specifics/location before booking and not rely on the standard photo. I was originally given room 7 which was a major bummer. Tiny window that faced a wall. It felt like a cave. I figured out that part of the hotel is blocked by another structure which results in dark rooms and small windows. The other half of the hotel had proper windows. The ocean front rooms with balconies are probably a safe bet. My friends were in room 28 and it was nice with an ample balcony, view and even a mini fridge which I didn’t have.
Beautiful place, a little slice of paradise. Best location in Jaco, in my opinion. Quiet southern end of the beach, minutes from the main strip, you can walk right onto the beach from the hotel. The owners are super cool & down to earth, the staff were all very friendly & professional.
Excellent location. Amazing & excellent experience with the staff. Always available to help and provide guidance. Good price & service at the bar and restaurants.
This is a nice old hotel. Although not modern, it has class. The price is reasonable and the Tike Restaurant there has good food and service. Stay if you can.
It was so wonderful to enjoy the time in front of the ocean. The rooms was big and clean. It was peaceful and a small paradise at Jaco beach. Far from the street. Thank you for all. We enjoyed the time a lot. The service was perfect.
