We had a great stay at Hotel Por Que No! It's tucked away on a side street in Uvita, but it feels close to everything and is walkable to the beach. The hotel and area are quiet. Luis and Katie are both very hospitable. And the air conditioning worked great! We didn't cook any meals while we were there, but we did have drinks and snacks in the common area a couple of times and stored some food in the fridge. We didn't get in the pool, but it looked nice.
What an absolute treasure this property is!! So happy we found it. The location was close to the beach, dining and amazing experiences (they have a great guestbook to guide you). We visited the beach daily, my husband surfed, we dined like locals and like kings, and also visited 3 waterfalls!! Also, having the pool to relax in day or night, was 10/10! Katie and Luis may actually be the very best hosts we encountered in our 10 year (apx) Airb&b experience. They are SO responsive and friendly. They go out of their way to answer questions and make suggestions about the area. We could not be happier with our experience! We will definitely be back and 10,000% recommend! Leslie and Doug S. Great hotel, people are very nice! Do not expect a big room, but it is indeed a clean room. Shared facility and very convenient location. Close to wild life as well as to all the tour areas and restaurants!
We stayed three nights with our two kids in a spacious room with two double beds. It's a lovely place with just four rooms. We loved the pool and especially the shared patio and kitchen area where you can easily meet other travellers and exchange experiences with them. Luis is a very friendly hotel manager who gave us helpful tips. The place is within walking distance to the beach, shops restaurants and the national park. Thanks for having us, we very much enjoyed our stay!
