Booked this place for a short stay to visit the park, after looking at loads of places which were closer we were really happy with our choice! It’s down a side street and was really quiet, clean and close to a few sodas. We went slightly off season so was quiet around the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was really good, snack menu was really good and reasonably priced. Rooms and beds were really comfy. Would stay here again for a short trip.
Great place and very clean! Very close to a bus stop that will take you down to the national park. Bus cost 370 colones or about $.60 each. Our mini fridge seemed to not work great and our A/C unit seemed a little finicky. It was either freezing or kinda warm. But overall a very nice place to stay and friendly staff. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. (Which isn’t always the case)
Unassuming world class hotel ticked away in the alley called Calle Iglesia. The rooms were super luxurious, the food and drinks were great, and most of all, exceptional customer service at the lobby, especially Hellen. I had a fallout with my gf and I need a ride to SJO airport. Hellen got me a cab and I was able to return to the States. I am grateful for the exceptional professionalism. 10 out of 10 recommended.
This is a pretty hotel with pools. They have shampoo in the typical Costa Rica bathroom. Our room was pretty small but it was fine for a night. There is air conditioning and it is a short walk across the street to a couple shops and restaurants though they have a restaurant on site as well. I ordered the fish and chips and it was delicious.
Wow! I can't say enough nice things about this place. We booked it thinking, it's just going to be a place to stay the night and then go to the park. This place was a hidden gem. I highly recommend staying here if you want a place that is quiet, just off the main road, and has great service. The service was great, right from the start. Breakfast was included and the service was great (see photo). We were there on a Tuesday night into Wednesday (park closed Tuesdays) and it was pretty quiet. The only time it wasn't quiet was when the monkeys would occasionally make noises in the courtyard (and that wasn't a bother at all). Yes, they monkeys would visit the courtyard...so keep your food to a minimum by the pool. :) The pool area is nice (see photos). The bar area is great and they make nice drinks for their happy hour. The whole place is a treat. The team that worked there was super nice and very helpful.
