Flamingo Beach

Flamingo Beach, or Playa Flamingo as it is known in Costa Rica, is a stunning beach resort with a variety of secluded lagoons with the reaches of the mountain formations coming down to the waters edge. With large name brand resorts, championship golf courses and planned marina facilities it is no wonder Flamingo Beach has become a thriving tourist destination in Costa Rica. The accommodations vary from upscale resorts to surfing cabins so your choices are endless. The restaurants are the same offering fine dining experiences to local beachfront favorites.

There are bus routes between Flamingo and other nearby notable beaches along the coast. Taxis are available and Playa Flamingo is a short 45 minute drive from the airport in Liberia. An immense choice in accommodations, restaurants, tours, activities and shopping is available. Rental car companies are also located on the main street in the event you want to take off and explore in your own way.
