Description
Join us for a fun day on the Balsa River, full of adrenaline. Exciting combo trip, one hour of rafting down the solid white water rapids. Second part of the river you switch into tubing. One hour more of white water tubing full of big splashes. You will get wet, very wet…. but loads of fun. After the tubing, we will drive back to La Fortuna for delicious locally prepared lunch and coffee at our organic farm. We will finish with a walk in our organic farm. You’ll also learn about the growing, harvesting and production of seasonal fruits, medicinal plants, and sugar cane. Finally, as you learn about sugar cane in Costa Rica, your guide will help you extract juice from the cane in a traditional fashion, and you’ll get to enjoy a glass of pure sugar cane juice.
