Reviews
Giving it 5 stars because I genuinely enjoyed it, but there's room for improvement. Birding, view, grounds, staff, dining area, food... all 5 stars. The rooms could use some love. Would recommend stronger wifi signal, better soap/shampoo in the bathroom, and maybe a general deep clean of the walls. Fair amount of bugs in the rooms, but that's to be expected in the tropics and it wasn't an annoyance. Beds were comfy and clean. Despite some minor inconveniences, I'd highly recommend staying here. It was a wonderful experience to be up on a ridge above the ocean, watching Scarlet Macaws flying to roost, getting served DELICIOUS fresh food by welcoming staff members, and having two friendly dogs join us for dinner.
What a beautiful place it is an absolute gem if you like peace and quiet (except for the Macaws). The views from the open air restuarant are incredible, overlooking the forest and on to the Pacific. We saw birds of every colour lizards and enjoyed breakfast watching the White faced monkeys and Coates coming for theirs. There is a pleasent warm swimming pool and plenty of places to sit.
