Reviews
The most remarkable aspect of the hotel is the staff, very kind and welcoming and always trying to make you feel comfortable. Prices however are completely out of place and i feel like you can definitely stay at other glampings with restaurants that offer more reasonable Prices. As the only option to eat in the island, Harry’s bar can charge you up to 20$ a cocktail, around 6-7 $ a National beer.. a typical dish such as “casado” Can be up to 20$ too, which is ridiculous as the ingredients are mostly rice, beans, green salad and a protein. I ordered the Gulf Pasta for 28$ aprox and it was average. Nothing special. No flavor. Spa was not available for the whole weekend. Not every room has A/C, make sure to get that straight before booking the room. Location was good and practical as it is very close from the Ferry Port. Overall, although the hotel, Nature, room and staff are very worth the visit you could definitely find some more reasonable Priced restaurants in other Glamping hotels in the area.
Very nice hotel with very friendly people and great massages! The boat trip with Red (Miky) was also amazing and worth it's money. Also the people in the restaurant are amazingly skilled and friendly. The master suite on top of the mountain is super! The only thing the management should not do is ask extra for everything. If you jusy want (french) toast with an egg, they charge extra. We bought a 50$ tenderloin and it only came with 12 (I counted them) fries. If you ask for a few more, they charge extra. If you are paying hundreds of dollars per night, it feels not good to be charged for ridiculous things. I only blaim the management, not the staff, they are great!
Amazing staff and service. Great relaxing stay with our kids. With these tents it's a great connection to the natur and the island. The restaurant and breakfast is very good and has a great view. Pool, Trail, Playground, Kayak, Sup, we recommend for a couple of days. It's very special. For sure there is no shop, buy what you need before.
We had a wonderful week long stay at Isla Chiquita. From the moment I initially inquired about the hotel and throughout the entire stay, the staff stayed responsive and friendly. The property is beautiful and perfectly maintained, the food is absolutely delicious, the service is amazing, and the howler monkeys are adorable. We booked the snorkeling/Isla Tortuga adventure, the bioluminescence experience, the Curu Reserve tour, and the birdwatching tour. The main tour guide, Rico, is so friendly and loves sharing information about the areas that I otherwise wouldn’t have known. I highly recommend adding this hotel to your Costa Rican vacation itinerary!
We had the most wonderful two nights on this resort! The staff could not do enough for us, and are genuinely incredibly helpful. We were allowed to stay till 4 pm as we left with the last ferry! The tents are stunningly beautiful and comfortable. The food is fresh and tasty. The island itself is beautiful and home to many howler monkeys, birds and lizards. It really was like walking into paradise and we did not want to leave! We did the bioluminescence and snorkeling tours which we thought were good value and well organised! Thank you again for a phenomenal end to our stay in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 pura vida!
