I absolutely loved my stay at Boho!! The girls who run the guest house are friendly and amazing hosts❤️ The place has a beautiful yard where you can see many cute animals, and the room where I stayed was quiet, clean, and had a cute boho vibe. The kitchen is well equipped and clean! It is also at a convenient location, close to town but also off of the main road which makes it nice and quiet at night. I would definitely stay again! Thank you Irene and Bel for everything 🥰
Nice: - location, few minutes to the beach and to many restaurants and services - friendly staff - free secure parking (even thought the access is not super comfy, its missing a lock outside) - kitchen (even though we used it just for the water) Bad: - the room is very small - the roof is not fully closed, so you have a lot of insects and mosquitoes inside. there is a mosquito net above the bed but its not centred so its not easy to properly put it - the room wasn't in very good condition. the fan was rusty, many holes in the mosquito nets. - small and not comfy shower - the bed wasn't very comfy either - no room cleaning (after 3 nights it was a mess ;-/) - there are multiple signs about fines, like if you make the towels dirty, or if you leave sand in the shower. (we tried our best, but its impossible to not bring any sand inside, especially if you're there several days) - lock to enter and exit the property wasn’t always working correctly so sometimes we were stuck for few minutes to be able to go out
Casa Bohö is a very special place shaped by love and excellent attention to detail. The location is a perfect mix for travelers wanting to explore the culture of the Caribbean, in the town of Puerto Viejo, while also being very accessible to beautiful beaches, surf breaks, and jungle hikes. The kitchen was a vibrant place where you’ll always feel at home. The showers were warm and the rooms felt cozy. The staff is super knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations for town. Highly recommend for the solo traveler or family visiting Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.
Casa Boho's location is perfect: very close to the sea ( I could hear the sound of the waves from my room) and to the main shops of Puerto Viejo. The staff is extremely nice and the environment is super cozy, I felt at home as soon as I arrived. There's a kitchen, tables and couches in the covered outdoor common areas where you can spend a few relaxing hours in case of rain. Totally recommended!!
