Description
Start with a 30-minute 4x4 drive outside La Fortuna to a rainforest canyon near Arenal Volcano. Experience five rappels: one on a dry rock face and four alongside or inside waterfalls.
After rappelling, take a short hike along a rainforest trail, then board the 4x4 again to reach the Balsa River. Certified guides provide safety instructions and rafting gear before a two-hour whitewater rafting session through class 2-3 rapids, including 'Magnetic Rock' and 'Dredges.'
