Description
Your adventure starts at the harbor where your guide will meet you at the designated point immediately after disembarking. The tour begins with a one-hour boat ride through the Tortuguero canals, surrounded by lush vegetation. Along this waterway known as the 'Amazon of Costa Rica,' you may spot caimans, colorful birds, monkeys, iguanas, and crocodiles.
Next, the tour stops at Playa Bonita, a scenic beach in Limón, where you can relax for about 20 minutes and enjoy the sand and waves. Afterward, you proceed to Maratopia, a tropical jungle garden showcasing a diverse range of plants, large blue morpho butterflies, and sloths resting in the trees.
Your guide Oscar, known for his warm Costa Rican hospitality, will invite you to taste exotic tropical fruits mostly grown on the property. You can also visit the onsite souvenir shop offering local artisanal products. The entire tour takes place in small, relaxed groups to ensure a personalized experience.
You will be returned to the harbor on time for your onward journey by ship.
