Description

Tamarindo Surf & Tours provides more than just surf lessons. Located in town, the surf school features a secure physical storefront with lockers, showers, and brand-new soft-top surfboards designed for comfort and safety.

Sessions last 1.5 to 2 hours and cater to all levels. Lessons begin with a clear introduction on the beach covering ocean safety, surf basics, and technique. Afterward, you’ll enter the water to practice paddling, standing, and catching waves. Beginners learn foundational skills while intermediate surfers receive focused coaching from local experts to enhance their abilities.

All necessary equipment is provided, including a surfboard and rash guard. Participants only need to bring energy, swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel. Lessons typically take place in Tamarindo’s gentle, clean waves known for safety and fun. Alternative beach locations can be arranged upon request.
