Description
Meet at 7:00am at the dive shop in Tamarindo to gear up before heading to the beach. From there, a 40-minute boat ride takes you to the Las Catalinas Islands archipelago for two guided snorkel sessions at different spots.
The Catalinas Islands offer around 20 varied dive and snorkel sites where you can see reef sharks, manta rays (best January to March), turtles, octopuses, nudibranchs, and various tropical fish species. The tour concludes back in Tamarindo by approximately 12:00pm.

For best conditions, plan your visit between January and March to increase chances of seeing manta rays. Bring sun protection, a swimsuit, and a towel. Arrange pickup in Tamarindo if needed by contacting the operator in advance.
