Description
Blue Dolphin Sailing offers daily catamaran tours departing from Playa Tamarindo, ideal for solo travelers, couples, families, or business groups. Operating since 2004, it is Costa Rica's longest-running sailing tour company.
The fleet includes Blue Dolphin 1, a 40-foot open layout catamaran, and Blue Dolphin 2, a larger 50-foot cruising catamaran. The professional licensed crew ensures a welcoming and comfortable experience.
The tour sails north for approximately one hour, serving custom cocktails while guests watch for marine life such as whales, dolphins, turtles, and rays. The boat then anchors in a secluded cove where participants can swim, snorkel, kayak, use a stand-up paddleboard, or relax with pool noodles.
After water activities, guests enjoy a freshly prepared meal on board while listening to tropical music and watching the sunset before returning to Tamarindo.
The booking cutoff time is 11:30 AM on the day of the tour.
